Today, so far
Americans turned 65. More than 11,000 a day, the most in history. Most of them belong to a credit union that has no idea what to say to them.
Where it stands
Medicare is the door nobody blocks. We lead with it in every credit union and add lines in the order the credit union asks for them. Cross Valley and Patriot both asked for life within weeks of signing.
Demand is ahead of coverage, and that is the good problem. Fourteen of the sixteen accounts below sit outside our Pennsylvania footprint. We can hire into every one of them, and we will. With Gyde's licensed producers already in those states, we open them this quarter instead of next year. That is why agent capacity by state is item one.
The session
States ranked by licensed agent capacity. Which states can support in-branch Medicare Days in 2027. Where Gyde agents take credit union leads our team cannot cover in person.
Standard product list for the channel. Wealth lanes for 2027 and 2028. Employee benefits lanes. Gia turned loose on Gyde's existing Medicare book for home, auto, and life, written through our desk; which states we need appointments in first. The four open questions below.
Where the Medicare team onboarding stands. Gia and the cross-sell pathway across every line in the product map. More appointments per advisor from the team we already have. Carrier uploads and admin access. The timeline decision: prep during Annual Enrollment, Medicare team live the week it ends, every line on the platform as fast as Gyde can take us from there.
Final top 10. Owner and first introduction named on each. Introductions for Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
George Nahodil's role. One shared pipeline view. Contract process and approvals. Annual Enrollment overflow agents for 2027.
Launch kit v2 owner and delivery date. Whitepaper release plan and announcement order. Reimagine 2027 and league event budget.
Every item above gets a name and a date before we leave the room.
Product map
Every credit union already has an investment partner and most hold TruStage. We never present as a replacement for either. Medicare is the door they do not hold.
| Line | Who sells it | How it works today |
|---|---|---|
| Medicare Advantage, Supplement, Part D | We sell direct | Core program in every credit union and league agreement. Turning 65 appointment setting plus Annual Enrollment reviews. Branch Medicare Days, phone, and video. |
| Medicare companion products: cancer, critical illness, hospital indemnity, dental, vision, hearing, final expense | We sell direct | Sold in the same Medicare appointment, as the plan review surfaces the gap. These are the products Medicare members already buy from somebody; here they buy them from the credit union's advisor. |
| Individual health under 65 | We sell direct | Usually the younger spouse losing employer coverage when the older spouse retires. No other partner offers it to the credit union. |
| Term and permanent life | We sell direct | Included in direct credit union agreements (Cross Valley, Patriot). Carved out of the league program where TruStage holds life. Sold as a cross-sale from the Medicare appointment. |
| Fixed annuities | We sell direct unless the investment partner holds them | Ours in credit unions without an investment program. Referred where the investment partner already sells them. Patriot refers everything to Ameriprise. |
| Long term care | The credit union decides | Offered as an option in every direct agreement. Sold from the Medicare appointment when the credit union opts in. |
| Home and auto | The credit union decides | Offered as an option. Cross Valley is adding auto and home now. Positioned as a cross-sale to Medicare buyers, never as a TruStage replacement at the door. |
| Commercial | The credit union decides | For credit unions with business members. Referred to our commercial desk. |
| Employee benefits | We sell direct, two lanes | Lane one: the credit union as an employer (Patriot has asked). Lane two: the small business members every credit union already banks. Separate paper outside the member program agreement. |
| Variable annuities, investments, securities | Always referred | Referred to the credit union's investment partner every time. The program is health and fixed products only, which is what cleared Patriot's broker dealer review. |
| Partner | What they hold | How we work with them |
|---|---|---|
| TruStage | Life, accidental death, and most of the credit union's member insurance relationships. | Medicare is the door TruStage does not hold. Life stays out of league programs where TruStage is endorsed. |
| Ameriprise at Patriot | Investments, annuities, and retirement planning. | Referred every time. Joint seminars: Ameriprise covers Social Security and retirement, MedVía covers Medicare. |
| Each credit union's investment program | Investments, annuities, and retirement planning. | Same model as Ameriprise at Patriot. Where there is no program, fixed products are ours. |
| The credit union itself | Certificates, home equity, auto and personal loans, new memberships. | Our advisors surface these in the appointment and hand them back to the credit union, with referrals reported monthly by lane. |

| Lane | Launch in 2027 | Build for 2028 | Proposed owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Direct: credit unions without an investment program | Fixed annuities, life, and long term care sold from the Medicare appointment. Smaller credit unions first, where there is nobody to conflict with. | Standard wealth module in every new agreement. Seminar calendar paired with Medicare Days. | Justin |
| Wholesale: credit unions with advisors | Iscential Markets supplies product, case design, and underwriting support to the credit union's advisors. The advisor keeps the client. Start with one signed credit union and its investment partner. | Formal two way referral agreements with investment partners, Ameriprise at Patriot first. Advisor access to the platform for Medicare referrals in the other direction. | Justin, Will |
| Middle market members | The Medicare appointment becomes the household review: life, income protection, and fixed products for members the internal advisor does not reach. | Household scoring in the platform to route each member to the right lane: our advisor, the credit union's advisor, or both. | Justin, Sam |
| Lane | Launch in 2027 | Build for 2028 | Proposed owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home, auto, life, and final expense for Gyde's existing Medicare book | Gia runs on Gyde's existing Medicare book and surfaces the home, auto, and life gap at every renewal and service conversation. Our property and casualty desk and the Iscential Markets life supply write what Gia finds. First step is Gyde's book by state, so we get licensed and carrier-appointed where the members are before Gia turns on. | Standard second-line offer across Gyde's book, with the desk appointed in every state that carries volume. Attach rate per Gia conversation as the measure. | Sam, Justin |

Separate paper outside the member program. | Standard employer offering for every signed credit union, presented at kickoff. | Justin, Gyde employee benefits team |
| Lane two: small business members | Ask one signed credit union how many business accounts it holds and run one pilot campaign to those owners. | Business member benefits as a standard line in the product list, delivered by Gyde's employee benefits capability. | Will, Justin |

Operating model
Before the signature
After the signature
| Agreement | Used for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Master Program Agreement | Leagues | Structure only, shareable with member credit unions, no fee numbers. CrossState is the model. |
| Program Compensation Agreement | Leagues | Confidential companion holding the league fee, the credit union tier ladder, the promotion pool, and the post-termination tail. |
| Credit Union Joinder | League member credit unions | One page. The credit union's own rate lives here. Signed by the credit union, no negotiation. |
| Program Services Agreement | Direct credit unions | Full agreement with Exhibit B compensation. Patriot's executed version is the current template. |
| Employee benefits agreement | Credit union as employer | Separate paper, outside the member program. |
Standard terms in every agreement: the fee is a program marketing and access fee on aggregate program revenue, paid monthly, never tied to an individual policy or commission, because the credit union is not licensed. Revenue base is gross carrier commissions actually received, net of chargebacks, excluding overrides, contingent bonuses, marketing allowances, and hierarchy compensation. No change of control, equity sale, financing, or reorganization requires consent. Mutual announcement and ordinary course marketing rights. Confidentiality of terms both directions.
